Ainsi, le retrait correct de la conscience tourn\u00e9e vers le monde ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nal est enseign\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aspirant.<\/p><p>Il doit apprendre \u00e0 centrer sa conscience sur la grande station centrale situ\u00e9e dans la t\u00eate, d\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019\u00e9nergie peut consciemment \u00eatre distribu\u00e9e pendant qu\u2019il participe au grand \u0153uvre, d\u2019o\u00f9 il peut \u00e9tablir un contact avec le royaume de l\u2019\u00e2me, et o\u00f9 il peut recevoir les messages et impressions \u00e9manant de ce domaine. Ceci constitue un stade d\u00e9termin\u00e9 de r\u00e9alisation\u202f: ce n\u2019est pas simplement une fa\u00e7on symbolique de d\u00e9signer un int\u00e9r\u00eat fix\u00e9 sur un seul point.<\/p><p>Les divers canaux de perception sensorielle sont amen\u00e9s \u00e0 un \u00e9tat de qui\u00e9tude. La conscience de l\u2019homme r\u00e9el ne reflue plus vers l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur le long des cinq voies de contact. Les cinq sens sont domin\u00e9s par le sixi\u00e8me, le mental. La conscience et la facult\u00e9 perceptive de l\u2019aspirant sont enti\u00e8rement synth\u00e9tis\u00e9es dans la t\u00eate, se tournant vers l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et vers le haut. La nature psychique est ainsi subjugu\u00e9e et le plan mental devient le champ d\u2019activit\u00e9 de l\u2019homme.<\/p><h2>Les \u00e9tapes du Pratyahara<\/h2><p>Ce processus de retrait ou de transfert comporte plusieurs \u00e9tapes :<\/p><p><b>1. Le retrait de la conscience physique<\/b>, ou de la perception par l\u2019ou\u00efe, le toucher, la vue, le go\u00fbt et l\u2019odorat. Ces modes de perception deviennent temporairement engourdis\u202f; la perception de l\u2019homme devient uniquement mentale et la conscience c\u00e9r\u00e9brale est la seule activit\u00e9 sur le plan physique.<\/p><p><b>2. Le retrait de la conscience dans la glande pin\u00e9ale<\/b>, de sorte que le point de conscience soit centr\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion situ\u00e9e entre le milieu du front et la glande pin\u00e9ale.<\/p><p><b>3. Le transfert de la conscience dans le centre de la t\u00eate<\/b> \u2014 le lotus aux mille p\u00e9tales ou Sahasrara \u2014 en attirant d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment la conscience \u00e0 ce point pr\u00e9cis dans la t\u00eate. La majorit\u00e9 des gens doivent d\u2019abord acqu\u00e9rir une certaine ma\u00eetrise des deux premi\u00e8res \u00e9tapes (asana et pranayama) et apprendre \u00e0 r\u00e9gir les canaux de perception \u2014 les cinq sens.<\/p><p><b>4. Le transfert de la conscience dans le corps subtil<\/b>, lib\u00e9rant ainsi la conscience du plan physique.<\/p><p><b>5. Un retrait suppl\u00e9mentaire dans le corps mental ou dans le mental lui-m\u00eame<\/b>, afin que ni le plan physique ni le plan astral ne limitent ou n\u2019emprisonnent plus l\u2019homme. Lorsque cela est accompli, la v\u00e9ritable m\u00e9ditation et contemplation deviennent possibles.<\/p><h2>Le but du Pratyahara<\/h2><p>Dvidedi, dans son commentaire du sutra, dit ceci :<br \/><em>\u00ab\u202fLe transfert consiste \u00e0 assimiler compl\u00e8tement les sens au mental et \u00e0 les placer sous sa domination totale. Ils doivent \u00eatre d\u00e9tourn\u00e9s de leurs objets, fix\u00e9s sur le mental et int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 lui, de sorte que, la transformation du principe pensant \u00e9tant supprim\u00e9e, les sens s\u2019y conforment aussi et soient imm\u00e9diatement ma\u00eetris\u00e9s. De plus, ils seront pr\u00eats \u00e0 contribuer collectivement \u00e0 toute m\u00e9ditation abondante sur n\u2019importe quel sujet, et \u00e0 tout moment.\u202f\u00bb<\/em><\/p><p>En r\u00e9sum\u00e9, les r\u00e9sultats du retrait ou transfert de la conscience sont\u202f:<\/p><ol><li>La synth\u00e8se des sens \u00e0 travers le sixi\u00e8me sens\u202f: le mental.<\/li><li>L\u2019alignement triple de l\u2019homme inf\u00e9rieur, de sorte que les trois corps fonctionnent comme une unit\u00e9 coordonn\u00e9e.<\/li><li>L\u2019affranchissement de l\u2019homme des limitations corporelles.<\/li><li>L\u2019aptitude de l\u2019\u00e2me ou de l\u2019ego \u00e0 imprimer sa marque sur le cerveau et \u00e0 obtenir l\u2019illumination par le biais du
