December 22, 2025 - January 4, 2026

As the new year approaches, the Surya Montreal center (location) offers a space of “well-being” – a place to find balance and harmony. Use this period to slow down, reconnect with yourself, release tension and create inner space to approach 2026 with greater clarity and discernment.

From December 22 to January 4, we are offering a range of courses (descripton), open to all levels, in a friendly atmosphere, with no pressure and no spirit of performance. Everyone is invited to practice at their own pace, according to their abilities and needs at the time.

Newcomers to Surya Montreal can take advantage of one free trial class per discipline during this period. Simply register for the class of your choice via the calendar below. The classes are taught in French, but we are happy to translate to English if required.

Which course is right for you?

Each person has different needs: some are looking for a complete workout, others for a more gentle practice, or a moment of inner meditation. Here’s an overview of our courses to help you find the one that best suits your needs.

Suryashtanga Yoga
A complete body workout combining dynamic movements and static postures, with particular attention to breathing rhythm. It develops strength, flexibility and inner balance.

Gentle Yoga
Less physical and more accessible, this class is suitable for those who prefer a gentler approach or who have movement limitations. It incorporates specific breathing exercises to calm the mind and cultivate serenity.

Yoga & Meditation
A balanced class: 30 minutes of dynamic and static yoga to release tension in the body, followed by 30 minutes of breathing exercises and guided meditation for deep mental relaxation.

Meditation
A time for self-discovery. Through various breathing and meditation exercises, each week you explore a specific theme, conducive to refocusing and introspection.

Qigong
A moving meditation rooted in the Chinese tradition, combining gentle gestures, conscious breathing and visualizations. A practice that gathers and harmonizes vital energy.

Taijiquan
After a short Qigong practice to awaken energy, we move on to fluid, coordinated and elegant Taichi movements. This practice improves mobility, promotes energy balance and develops concentration.

The Surya Montréal team will be available before and after classes to discuss and answer any questions you may have about the studio and our practices.
