Return to a simple life, connect with yourself and live a unique experience!
Come with us to a wonderful place in nature, to relax while practicing yoga and meditation, and find our inner connection to nature.

Join us from August 16 to 18, 2019 for a memorable retreat, at place based on sustainable development, located in Harrington (1.30 hours from Montreal, Laurentians).

In addition to the workshops led by Surya-Montreal, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the 800-acre forest with trails and a private lake.
In this magnificent setting, ideal for reconnecting with oneself and nature, the activities will be guided by Claudette Ah-Soon and Bernhard Obojes from Surya-Montreal.

The goal is to take time for yourself, while relaxing and re-sourcing, to find joy and serenity.
The following classes will be offered:

  • suryashtanga yoga: to reconnect with one’s body and respiration, and to cultivate joy and inner peace
  • creative meditation: to cultivate a healthy mind in a healthy body and take a step towards serene and lasting happiness


  • hunyuan qigong / taiji: to untie tensions accumulated in the body; to find energy, balance and harmony in life
  • dressed massage (shiatsu yin): to do good and fully accept ones physical body, and learn how to do good to others
  • discussions around a fire at night about the benefits of meditation and the meaning of developing ones full potential!

In small groups and adapted to the level of each, the classes will be in French and English if necessary; note that afternoon workshops are optional so that everyone can find his/her rhythm and be attentive to his/her needs.


6 pm: welcome and visit of the place (possibility to arrive earlier)
7 pm: meal together
8:30 pm – 9:30 pm: meditation + discussion: the benefits of meditation

7:30 – 8:30 am: breathing and meditation
8:45 – 9:45 am: breakfast and exchange
9:45 am – 10:45 am: free time or qigong class
11: 00-12: 30: yoga: the benefits of the sun salutation + standing postures 1
12:45 pm – 1:45 pm: lunch and exchange
1:45 pm – 3:30 pm / 4:45 pm: free time: walk in the forest, swim in the lake or rest
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: massage workshop (optional)
4:45 – 6:15 pm: yoga: the benefits of sitting posture (outdoors if possible)
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm: supper
7:30 pm – 8:30 pm: free time
8:30 pm – 9:30 pm: meditation + discussion: relationships between yoga, meditation and ecology

7:30 – 8:30 am: breathing and meditation
8:45 – 9:45 am: lunch and exchange
9:45 am – 10:45 am: free time or tai-chi class and martial applications
11:00 am – 12:15 pm: yoga: standing postures 2
12.30 pm -13.30 pm: lunch and exchange
1:45 – 2:45 pm: weekend wrap-up
3 pm: possibility to stay to enjoy the place (walk, lake) or return to Montreal.

RATES WITH FULL BOARD (including accommodation, meals and workshops)

Before June 30th:
Dormitory: $ 345 + taxes / person
Double Room: $ 415 + taxes / person

After June 30:
Dormitory: $ 390 + taxes / person
Double Room: $ 475 + taxes / person

Booking conditions: $ 150 deposit (non-refundable).
